Yamaha Reface DX Synthesizer

Description

The Yamaha reface DX Synthesizer is a revival of the Yamaha FM synths that shaped the sound of 80s electronic music. The DX has a new FM tone generator and is a 4 operator synth with an intuitive user interface, early synths were notoriously difficult to program and navigate, the reface DX is a stripped back, streamlined approach to synth design. Additionally Gear4music have added a pair of free headphones so you practise wherever you go in peace.
Sounds and Effects.

The Yamaha reface DX has a range of classic DX pads with around 12 different algorithm combinations. The level page enables you to adjust how the sounds feedback which can dramatically affect the sounds. this 37 key portable synth has built in effects such as distortion and reverb, these effects can be combined with any preset sound.
Classic Look and Feel.

The reface DX is based on classic DX synths with a stripped back interface and user friendly navigation.
Lightweight and Portable.

Unlike the majority of vintage style synths, the reface is compact and lightweight with built in speakers and optional battery power. The keyboard can be connected to external speakers or PA systems so is ideal for live performance.
