Description

The RG655 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2014. It is made in Japan by Fujigen as part of the upscale Prestige line. It is essentially similar to the iconic RG550, except that it has a rosewood fretboard.

The RG655 features a basswood body with a maple and walnut Super Wizard HP neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include an original Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut, pickguard-mounted DiMarzio pickups in a humbucker/ single-coil/ humbucker configuration and Gotoh tuning machines.
